Farm to Table: Pick Up Fresh Produce at These Farmers Markets

One of the things our REALTORS® love most about the summer months is the opportunity to visit our area farmers markets and pick up delicious, fresh produce and other locally made items. There are plenty of great farmers markets in the Mansfield area. Here are a few of our favorites.

NECIC North End Farmer's Market: 311 Bowman St., Mansfield, OH 44903
The North End Farmer's Market has been around since 2014 and is a favorite among North End residents. Here you'll find plenty of fresh, healthy food and other products for sale. They also encourage small business growth by helping local residents launch their own farmers' market booths for a very low cost.

This market opens on June 6th and is held every Wednesday from 3 to 6 pm. When you head over to check it out, we suggest taking a drive around so you can get a look at some of the beautiful nearby Mansfield homes for sale.
Downs Farm Market & Greenhouse: 1821 N. Lexington-Springmill Road, Mansfield, OH 44906
Another market we love to visit is the family-owned Downs Farm Market & Greenhouse. This store offers fresh produce and a large selection of plants, birdhouses, feeders, gifts, and more. Pay a visit after looking at nearby Ontario homes for sale.

They're open April through October, Monday through Saturday from 10 am until 6 pm. You can also make an appointment if you need to visit at other times.
Sticks & Stone & Stuff: 960 Park Ave. E, Mansfield, OH 44905
A family-owned farm market, Sticks & Stone & Stuff is located right at the intersection of St. Rt. 430 & St. Rt. 39 close to Madison School District homes for sale. They carry fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Local residents love the friendly owners and staff who go out of their way to ensure their visitors have a great experience.

The store is currently open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sundays from 10 am until 4 pm.
Wayne's Country Market: 2440 Lexington Ave., Mansfield, OH 44907
Family owned and operated Wayne's Country Market has been a favorite among local residents since 1993. Not only do they carry a large selection of locally-grown produce, but they also have a deli, greenhouse, and garden shop, and a selection of wines. They're open all year long and also host many popular events throughout the year. Stop by when you're looking at Lexington School District homes for sale.
Apple Hill Orchards: 1175 Lexington Ontario Road, Mansfield, OH 44903
Apple Hill Orchards is yet another excellent option for residents looking for fresh local products. They carry a selection of locally-grown produce, fresh baked goods, local honey, jams and jellies, and more. They also have an Amish deli and gift items. The orchard is open all year long, and they also host fun special events.
