From cutting a tree to hopping aboard a wagon ride, dozens of local farms and farm markets offer a chance to get into the Christmas spirit. An Old-Fashioned Christmas Starts in Bellville at Kleerview Farm

Just 10 minutes outside Bellville, Ohio, Kleerview Farm is nestled in the Clear Fork Valley, surrounded by the rolling hills and farmlands of Richland County. Every year, countless locals and visitors flock to the 230-acre farm to cut Christmas trees, take part in all kinds of fun holiday happenings – and to meet the herd of reindeer that call Kleerview Farm home.

Santa's Barnyard Express
Since 2009, Kleerview Farm has been home to Santa's Barnyard Express, where kids and grown-ups can meet some of Santa's barnyard friends. Stop by to visit this year's two new reindeer calves, Jack Frost the miniature donkey, Cindy Lou the miniature horse, and a whole menagerie of ducks, piglets, and rabbits. It's a great experience to squeeze in between wagon rides and hot cocoa.
A Tree for Every Home
Owners Kevin and Debbie Kleer plant more than 4,000 trees every spring at Kleerview Farms to meet their clients' demand for an ever-widening selection of Christmas trees. You can choose among more than a half dozen varieties – white pine, Scotch pine, blue spruce, Serbian spruce, Norway spruce, Fraser fir, and Canaan fir – so you're guaranteed to find what you want. Cut your own or choose from the pre-cut tree selection.
The Christmas House
Don't miss the opportunity to tour the Christmas House! Hop on a wagon ride to take a tour of this 130-year-old farmhouse that sits at the heart of Kleerview Farm. Every year, owners of the Christmas House decorate it for the holidays, including a different Christmas tree in every room. There is no charge to tour the Christmas House on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, weather permitting.

Visit Kleerview Farm

Kleerview Farm is just over 5 miles west of Bellville via Bellville-Johnsville Road. The farm is open weekdays 1 to 5 p.m., and weekends 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kleerview is also open Thanksgiving week for anyone looking to get a jump on the holidays!
