Celebrate Valentine's Day in Bellville at the Wishmaker House

The Wishmaker House Bed & Breakfast
The Wishmaker House, located at 116 Main Street in Bellville, Ohio, is the perfect venue for a relaxing retreat on Valentine's Day or any other day of the year. The 10,000 square foot building was originally built in the 1890s as a residence for a local doctor. The current owners purchased the building in 2010 and transformed it into a charming 8-room Bed and Breakfast.
Each room has a unique color scheme and is furnished with a flat-screen TV, internet access, private baths, and handcrafted Amish furniture. You can reserve the spacious Treetop Suite for up to six people or choose a room with a fireplace, a balcony, handicap accessibility, or other amenities. The main floor provides a living room, patio, and common areas for socializing and mingling. You'll receive a full breakfast each morning.
The Wishmaker Winery
The owners learned winemaking from the ground up and worked hard to master the skill. Wishmaker Winery now produces 11 house wines. Some have earned awards in Ohio wine competitions. Their Wine Bar is an integral part of the Wishmaker experience, serving house wines as well as wines and beers from around the world.
On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the winery opens to the public for dinner from 4 to 10:00 pm. Chef Samantha Freeman prepares meals with locally sourced ingredients. She changes the menu every three months to reflect in-season elements. Due to the Valentine's Day Wine Pairing event, the winery will not hold regular dinner service on February 9th and 10th.
Valentine's Day at the Wishmaker House B&B
The perfect Valentine's Day celebration takes imagination and planning. Wishmaker House B&B takes care of the details so you don't have to. All you have to do is make a reservation and deliver your Valentine to their door for a special evening or an overnight stay.
Valentine's Day Wine Pairing
This annual event is a local tradition. You and your date will enjoy live music and a delicious four-course dinner. The chef pairs each course with the perfect wine. Dates: February 9th and February 10th. Cost per couple is $125. Reservations are required.
