The Haunted History of the Ohio State Reformatory
The Ohio State Reformatory was designed by architect Levi T. Schofield, with the first stones for the spectacular structure being laid in 1886. The prison housed some of the most dangerous criminals in Ohio, and ghost stories were very common even before the prison became a well-known historic site.
